Carrie Crystal, assistant professor of operations management at University of Notre Dame’s Mendoza College of Business, studies how revenue management practices affect performance.

In a recent research study in Production and Operations Management, Ms. Crystal and her co-authors developed a method for removing demand constraints and then used a simulation to demonstrate resultant revenue improvement. She is analyzing the drivers of effective revenue management using empirical methods.

Prior to earning her Ph.D. at Georgia Institute of Technology, Ms. Crystal manufactured polymers at Shell Chemical and developed manufacturing strategy at Siemens Energy and Automation.
