Kevin Geraghty, an expert in revenue-focused analytics, has developed business processes and systems that contribute hundreds of millions to the revenues of a number of Fortune 500 companies.
Mr. Geraghty is an invited speaker at professional conferences and a guest lecturer at graduate business programs. He has received outstanding research practice honors from INFORMS, the Institute for Operations Research and the Management Sciences.
Mr. Geraghty’s work has been pivotal in advancing pricing and revenue management within the airlines as well as promoting broad acceptance in new areas of application. His work on National Car Rental pricing and reservations management systems reversed a decision to liquidate the company and generated an estimated $2 billion in corporate value.
At Delta Air Lines, Mr. Geraghty was the principal architect of the origin and destination management system. He introduced revenue management to the property and casualty insurance industry and wrote a groundbreaking patent at GMAC Insurance.
Mr. Geraghty has consulted on pricing, logistics and marketing issues for firms as diverse as British Airways, Coca-Cola Co., Reuters, and UPS. He holds a master’s degree in management science and a B.A. in mathematical science from the National University of Ireland.
Mr. Geraghty is president of the Atlanta INFORMS Chapter, founder of the INFORMS Revenue Management section, and has served as a mentor for the Georgia 100® program. He lives in Atlanta with his wife, Monica, and their three boys, Liam, Senan, and Cahir.
